Free Essential Oils Pocket Reference
“Which essential oil do I use and how do I use it?”
This is probably one of the most common questions I receive; and understandably so! Essential oils are powerful, and it’s crucial to know how and when to use them properly. That’s why I’ve chosen to give each of my new wholesale customers who, at the time of registration, purchase the Everyday Oils kit on THIS PAGE (or register with one of the premium start-up kits, 115 PV or more) a FREE copy of this valuable resource! I don’t sell this book; but I feel so strongly that you need to have a good resource to get you started that I’m willing to buy it for you!
One of the best aspects of using essential oils for health concerns is the opportunity to become medically self-sufficient—to be able to go to your own home pharmacy, pick the best essential oil and use it effectively. In order to do that you will need clear information that is immediately available. Therapeutic-grade essential oils are safe to use, yet educating yourself about how to use them is imperative!

NEW, 5th Edition Essential Oils Pocket Reference is bigger (now at 394 pages) and better than ever. This new 5th Edition now includes the entire Young Living Oil Blends chapter from the Desk Reference. It is still smaller than the Desk Reference, with less information—but more than you need to get started! The smaller size makes it easier to take with you or grab when you’re in a hurry.
Features:
- 6” X 6½”
- Now 394 Pages!
- Spiral bound, Paper-back
- Personal Usage reference – An alphabetical list of symptoms and health conditions with recommendations for the best essential oils to use (based on known research) and how to use them.

Hello! My name is Stacy and I am just one of a growing number of Common Scents Moms who desire to use more natural methods of housekeeping and care for our families. I'm a pastor's wife, homeschooling mother, and part time author. It is my goal to live my life to the glory of God, enjoying Him every step of the way!

I have been using essential oils for a while (mostly for bath products) and am excited to learn about all the uses of quality oils! I just signed up though we weren’t able to get a premium kit so we could get the free reference guide. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!
That’s great, Angel! Be sure to sign up for my newsletter to get notification on new posts that will help you learn how to use your oils! Also, after you sign up for the newsletter, let me know, and I’ll send you a free download for the ebook, “Their Leaves for Healing” by Elizabeth Flores.
Hi Mrs. McDonald,
I’m planning to sign up soon as a distributer, but I was wondering how long you are offering this – or is that a surprise? I’ve learned so much from your site and look forward to expanding my use of essential oils!
One thing I’ve been wondering is if essential oils end up replacing other needs (like medicine, for minor things) or are more of a helpful, soothing thing to have on the side. I know they have powerful healing properties, but I guess we’d like to know how good of an option it is for families on a budget.
Thank you so much!
Cait
Hi Cait,
I’m not sure how long I’ll be offering this special. I know I will be offering it for February, but I can’t promise beyond that.
As for your questions about replacing other household needs, the answer is YES! I had one new distributor write me the other day to say that her daughter had a case of “explosive diarrhea” and she went to grab the Immodium. Halfway to the cabinet, she remembered her new essential oils and decided to try the DiGize blend. She used it and it worked immediately. I think she was a little shocked (I wasn’t!); and she was so glad to toss her Immodium now that she had something better, and that would work for more things!
Click HERE to see all the things we “used to buy” that we’ve replaced with essential oils! Also, there are plenty of ways to make purchasing your essential oils more affordable. Feel free to contact me on the LIVE HELP button on my website (the icon on the top right corner of The Common Scents Mom).
I’m pregnant so of course I’m worried about drinking or eating anything with unfamiliar herbs/oils/etc. Do you know if any of these remedies you’re talking about have been deemed “safe” during pregnancy/breastfeeding? My doctor gave me a list of medications that are “safe,” but of course oils and natural remedies weren’t included. I know that there are a few natural remedies (teas and such) that are considered unsafe.
I signed up about a week and a half ago, and received my oils today! Is the free book still an offer? Also, how do I sign up for the newsletter? I am have turned to oils as a last resort if you will, for an issue I can’t seem to get rid of. I would love to know more about how to use them- I ordered the everyday oils kit. I would also like to discuss my issue with you to see if you have any specific recommendations.
