Recipes from the Wedding…

Print Friendly

Anyone who knows our family, knows that we are “foodie” people. We believe that food should look as good as it tastes, and it should nourish our bodies as much as it nourishes our senses! And that was our goal for our daughter’s wedding.

We started with a Mediterranean herb garden theme (perfect for our daughter, Melissa), and accented it with plenty of fresh herbs, some of which were home grown by a good friend’s sister especially for the wedding. Thanks, Kim and Tina! Other herbs and ingredients came from the Mediterranean Mart in Peoria (a great family-run grocery).

I don’t suppose Grace would share some of the cake info. I’d love to know if the frosting is a simple buttercream…and how she got the rich cream color. Also, tip numbers used to make those beautiful rosettes on the cake. And finally, the sauce on top of the cupcakes…is it a raspberry sauce?
