What a thrill to be able to watch the wedding! Loved that!
I can only imagine the bittersweet feelings you must be having. When my firstborn announced: When the baby's 10, I'll be 20!, I said: We're not going to talk about that. lol

Lovely–congratulations to the newlyweds and both families! Your daughter's dress was stunning–any details you might be willing to post (fabric? pattern? tucks and lace?)?

I cried tears of joy for them, seeing the kiss that was worth waiting for! It brought back beautiful memories of my own wedding day to my loving husband. He was 31 and I was 25, but we made a commitment to God and each other that we would wait until our wedding day to kiss one another.

It was well worth the wait – and I send my prayers to Tiffany and Ben. May God bless them with so many lovely years together serving God as one.

What a beautiful ceremony – and I loved the music too!

Thank you so much for sharing that beautiful ceremony with us. I recently shared a beautiful story of the courtship of a very godly young man and woman with my sister-in-law. They were both committed to waiting on God and the way God brought it all together, was amazing. My sister-in-law who is is very brazen and encourages promicuity in her own children, said it was the most beautiful story she'd ever heard. Stories and ceremonies like my friend's and your daughter's are not only beautiful and romantic, they're a testimony of the "abundant life in Christ" that God truly wants us to have if we do it His way. When I watched my friend's ceremony, as the pastor was saying "You may now kiss your bride," and looked over at her parents, I wondered how many parents have the privilege of saying they witnessed their daughter's or son's first kiss. First kisses are usually unromantic and hidden and many times come after a "dare." But with people who choose to wait on God, there are truly fireworks (flashing cameras) and a big party (the reception) to celebrate it! After a lifetime of witnessing all of your children's "firsts," what a beautiful ending/beginning to an old/new season in your child's life!

Our daughter is getting married at the end of the month and I am so happy to say they did it right. Respect for each other and respect for God means the wedding night and the entire relationship gets to start off with God's blessings. So praise God for another young couple dedicated to God!

We visited during the Worldview conference and noticed Tiffany among the young ladies for her hair and apparent musical expertise. I thought how many of these families are so blessed with Godly children and how badly this country and world need them to marry and have children and teach them and bring others into the Kingdom of God. Turns out Tiffany and Ben had already figured that out…

  23. Jennifer says:

Hidden kisses are generally more romantic. Jasmine Baucham even told me of couples who choose not to kiss at the wedding because they don't want their parents, cameras and countless others looking on. It's only for them, after all.

  24. Shannon says:

    Aw… I got a little teary-eyed, and I don't even know you guys… AND I'm not even pregnant. LOL

Congrats to the sweet couple. Stacy, your testimony has touched me more than you'll probably ever know. I hope to follow your example in raising my sweet girls (now 4 years old and under.)

    God bless your family.
