Frugality and Creativity
If you’re looking for last minute gifts for the young (or older) ladies in your life, I highly recommend this charming set of how-to videos produced by Franklin Springs…
The West ladies are back — Vicki, Jasmine, Hannah, and CeCe — in the popular “how-to” Homestead Blessings DVD series that teaches timeless homemaking skills to viewers of all ages. Soak up the warmth, wit, and southern charm of the West ladies as you learn how to save money and make healthier food choices for your family using easy-to-grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs from your own backyard. You will also be instructed in baking bread, making soap, and creating beautiful homemade candles—each skill a practical way to save money while working together as a family.

We have these videos and have ordered the next one 'The Art of Cooking.' My girls and I enjoy them and as my daughter said "The West Ladies are just normal and real on these videos."
These would make great gifts!
I love those!! My wonderful husband gave me some while Kaitlin was in the hospital so I would have something to do(this was when she was sedated for 3 weeks), and he gave me the rest for my birthday. Now that she is home, both of my little maidens love to watch them with me!
I have seen these but haven't purchased them yet. They look like lots of fun to watch and learn from. I agree that these would make great gifts!
Our family has the canning, gardening, and herb DVD's and we adore them! We all, even my husband, enjoyed watching them.
They look sweet and have been recommended by a friend as well. My husband is excited about us learning to do things for ourselves, and making our home productive, so we've already been learning some of these skills. I'm grateful for my husband's leadership in this area, as I think both husband and wife have to want this lifestyle if it is to work.
