Rebellious Boots
Every morning, the first thing my little man does is put his boots and holster on right over his “footie” pajamas. If you’ve never been kissed first thing in the morning by a gun totin’ cowboy in animal PJ’s you just haven’t lived!
Today he was going through the regular routine, laying on his back, trying to stuff his pajama covered feet into his black cowboy boots, when he kept having sneezing fits. During a particularly long attack he dropped his boot right on his face.
He turned his tearful blue eyes my way, expecting my usual expression of sympathy, and said, “Mommy, my boot kicked me right on my nose!”
Hmmm…I think I know how he feels. I hate it when my own shoe hits me right in the face. How about you?

Just priceless!!
My boot usually kicks me in another part of my anatomy. However, boots kicking me in the nose reminds me of sticking my foot in my mouth.
Stacy,
That is just toooo funny. I don't believe my shoe has kicked me recently, but I'll watch out!
Little boys are so cute and they love wearing the most interesting outfits. Love the PJs.
Blessings, Jean
I had one of those precious jammie cowboys! Now my sweet cowboy is a 13 year old Boy Scout! :)
I have one of those boys, too. He loves to wear his cowboy boots with his shorts, too!
I love little boys!
Hahahaha!!!
Yeah, sticking my foot in my mouth or getting kicked in the tootie…
I'm familiar with that!
Ha Ha – LOVE this!!
I usually have the misfortune of kicking myself in the leg..with my barefoot, after not clipping my toenail for a while. When that happens, the whole house hears my wail of pain :/
Stacy,
That was so sweet! I usually just end up putting them in my mouth! ;o)
Love, Heather
I love it honey. My son who use to do the same thing is a senior this year. He woke with his cowboy boots on and his guns on both hips. thank you for the sweet reminder:)Blessings,Robinsnest66
