Finally! The 2008 Passionate Housewives Tea in Pictures!

Here they are! The pictures I’ve been promising. The following photos were taken at the 2008 Passionate Housewives Tea, here in Peoria, Illinois. Thank you for being so patient! We missed those of you who couldn’t make it; but, with nearly 100 ladies, it was a packed house! We will definitely need a larger facility next time!

["Next time" is almost here! And we do have a larger facility! Our 2009 Mother Daughter Tea is scheduled for July 11, 2009. Click HERE for more information!]

Intense preparations began days ahead. Here is the “cooking party” at our house. Mothers and daughters joined together to make scones, lemon curd, creme de la creme, chicken salad, hummus, and Feta Herb Truffles (and don’t you DARE call them “cheese balls”).
Recipes to follow!
Younger daughters helped prepare the party favors and roll the silverware!
The doors opened at 8:30 a.m. and the excitement began!Meeting New Friends!
Making sure everything is “just right!”
Real Men Love to Serve!

Dads and sons who insisted on waiting on us “hand and foot” for the day!

Makes me wish we still lived in Central Illinois. :( We have very little fellowship like this where we live now. We have put the word out, though, that we are interested should anything come up!
