Finally! The 2008 Passionate Housewives Tea in Pictures!
Here they are! The pictures I’ve been promising. The following photos were taken at the 2008 Passionate Housewives Tea, here in Peoria, Illinois. Thank you for being so patient! We missed those of you who couldn’t make it; but, with nearly 100 ladies, it was a packed house! We will definitely need a larger facility next time!
["Next time" is almost here! And we do have a larger facility! Our 2009 Mother Daughter Tea is scheduled for July 11, 2009. Click HERE for more information!]
Intense preparations began days ahead. Here is the “cooking party” at our house. Mothers and daughters joined together to make scones, lemon curd, creme de la creme, chicken salad, hummus, and Feta Herb Truffles (and don’t you DARE call them “cheese balls”).
Recipes to follow!
Making sure everything is “just right!”
Real Men Love to Serve!
Dads and sons who insisted on waiting on us “hand and foot” for the day!

How beautiful! I wish I could have been there. Maybe I’ll just have to have one here in my neck of the woods. Any tips?
How wonderful for you all, it is just beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Okay, next time can you host one closer to Ohio? LOL Looks like a wonderful time!
Oh, how refreshing this sounds!
Ah, looked just lovely! I sure do wish that my daughter and I could have come. Maybe the gas prices will go down for next time — lol!
This would be such a welcome pleasure in Northern California. ;o)
Sooo thankful the Lord orchestrated the day’s events with such precision, care and love.
Bless you.

It looks like you enjoyed a lovely and very encouraging tea! I wish we could have been there…… with gas prices so high, we just couldn’t swing it. But we were there in “heart”. :)
Thanks for sharing the pics with us all!
Blessings~~

What a delightful day. I am so thankful that everything went as you planned!
Can’t wait to see the recipes.
I enjoyed the pictures of your Passionate Housewives Tea. I wish that there was something like that here in Northern California (valley area) where I live.
Can you come to Scotland next???
Those scones look so good! Are the recipes coming?
Makes me wish we still lived in Central Illinois. :( We have very little fellowship like this where we live now. We have put the word out, though, that we are interested should anything come up!
