Hello!
I hope you can answer a question for me. I hope it is not too personal:) I am 38 years old and I would love for God to bless me with a another child I already have two daughters 14 and 11.
How old were you when you had your last child? I have asked my doctor and she just gave me all these terriable things that could happen at my age.
My husband also thinks we are too old. I just keep praying that God will soften his heart.
Do you have any advice to get me through this all I can think of is babies:)
I feel like I am going through another season of my life but is it really time for me to have no other little ones?
Many Blessings,
Renee
I was really hoping you would answer this comment. Sometimes we go to people when we are not sure what Gods will is. I will keep seeking His ways….
Blessings to you:)
Renee
Hi Renee,
I’m sorry I missed your comment. I’ve been swamped getting ready for the ladies tea we’re hosting tomorrow night and quite a few things have fallen through the cracks.
In answer to your question, I was 38 years old when my last one was born.
I have a friend who has ten children (7 are reversal babies) and she had her last one at 47.
I can understand that yearning for more little ones. This is the first time in 12 years that I’m not nursing or pregnant. But trusting God and remembering that He should be my ultimate heart’s desire helps me to trust Him; and that if William is my “last one” I must be content.
Pray for your husband. Pray for God’s will to be done. And rest in Jesus, knowing that He is in control.
Hi, Stacy,
I emailed you a little over a week ago at your mcmom address and I haven’t heard back from you. I thought I’d let you know here just in case your addy was having problems and you haven’t received my email.
Blessings!
Oh, bah! Never mind. Please don’t post my comments. :) I just came here to give you the heads up and after posting I read your comment here to Renee. That answers a lot for me. I should have thought of that.
Besides, after sending you the email, I took the time to look at where you actually live (well, at least where your church is) in relation to the road we will be traveling and I fear you may live a little too far from the path we plan to use.
Well, I’d like to hear from you anyway once you get a little breathing room. Who knows what might work out. :)
