Everyone should have one of these…

Just so you know, I don’t benefit from posting this, other than to see my readers grow in faith by reading good, solid, God-glorifying material. I know many families who use this for family worship time with their children. I keep mine in the master bathroom – the only truly quiet place in the house at times! If you are not already a subscriber, please consider this wonderful resource for your family…

Tabletalk magazine was formed in 1977 to provide a substantive study tool for believers. Though its format has changed over the years, Tabletalk continues to challenge and encourage readers to dig deeper into the Word of God in order that their lives may be transformed through the renewing of their minds (Rom. 12:1–2).

Initially, serving as the ministry newsletter, Tabletalk changed to a devotional format in 1989 as a way to help readers become more grounded in Scripture. Daily Bible studies would become the core method for taking readers through the Bible, while theological articles by Dr. Sproul and other noted scholars addressed a particular theme each month.

Over the years, Tabletalk has been recognized for its excellence through several awards. Today, people all over the world read Tabletalk on a daily basis. The magazine is regularly found in seminary libraries and churches throughout the country. Many credit Tabletalk with helping them maintain a solid life of study and prayer.

Each month, more than 200,000 readers turn to Tabletalk in order to find:

• Dr. R.C. Sproul’s motivating column, “Right Now Counts Forever.”

• Articles by Christian scholars and leaders that provide detailed and thought-provoking coverage of important topics. Forgiveness, sexual sin, church history, the problem of evil, the Trinity, family life, and worship are just a few of the topics addressed. Mark Dever, Ligon Duncan, Sinclair Ferguson, Al Mohler, John MacArthur, John Piper, Joni Eareckson Tada, Gene Edward Veith, and Ravi Zacharias are among the hundreds who have written articles.

• Daily, in-depth studies guiding readers through one or more books of the Bible each year through rich yet easy-to-understand exposition, and practical applications.

• An easy and effective program for reading through the entire Bible in a year.

• Trusted resources for further study.

• A handy format allowing the magazine to fit into most Bibles and notebooks.

    Hi Stacy!

It was nice to see you last week, even if for a little bit. :)

Do you have any websites you go to for recipes? If so could you share it with me?
    Thanks!

    Take care and God bless

Stacy, Have you heard about this booktalk that Oprah has been doing? Apparently she denies Christ as being the only way and many Christians are watching this and allowing this garbage into their homes. I am not a regular watcher but someone sent me this clip and I am disguisted. If you are interested…

I love Tabletalk! I have used it for my devotional time for about three years now and gave a subscription to my married son and his wife recently.

Thank you for this reminder! We used to get Tabletalk years ago from my FIL, but the subscription ran out and we didn’t think to re-up it. I think I will ask my husband about thism as I remember really enjoying it. We still have the old issues! :)

Hi Stacy, I am a regular visitor of your blog, and just wanted to thank you for the time you take encouraging/exhorting us women. Thank you for this link, I think we’ll be ordering it, especially as there is one contributor whose last name was my maiden name :). I almost fell off my chair when I saw it as I don’t know any other “Venema’s” out there other than my one set of cousins. Wow, I almost feel famous, lol.
