I’m going to ask my husband if he is willing to move to IL! LOL So wish I lived closer. Looks like a ton of fun…like minded Christian women having fellowship together!
I just love your blog! Thanks for causing me to “think” and renewing my Spirit.
Ruth, PA
I wish I were closer, as I just finished the book and loved it!
This sounds wonderful! I am in NW Missouri…. I believe about 5 hours or so from you ~~ I am going to talk to my husband about attending. It would be fabulous to meet you, stacy — you have been such a blessing to me this past year in my new walk in the Lord Jesus! My 3 oldest girls would also love to come ( 13, 11 & 9). Will get back to you on this. Might make it a lovely mom & daughter outing!
Blessings,
Gloria
I was just going to write the same thing:) IL is just a little far from PA to go for a morning:) I hope that many take advantage of such a wonderful opportunity to be refreshed and renewed in their highest calling.
Blessings,
Kelly
mom to 6 in PA
Ruth – LOL! If he says yes, let me know! Either way, if you’re ever out this way for a visit, let me know!
Hi Tracy, same for you – if you’re ever in the neighborhood!
Gloria – I know it’s a drive, but we’d love to have you. Check with mapquest, I was thinking Missouri was closer than that.
Kelly – LOL Pennsylvania would be a sprint! We’ll miss you. :-(
I guess we just have to move to Peoria!!! ;o)
Love, Heather
I live in MI., but my friend and I might attend. It’s about 7 hours away. We both loved your book. She has two teen-aged daughters, one of whom read your raising maidens of virtue and absolutely loved it.
Are there any nice hotels in the area close to the church?
Thanks
Lisa
It does sound like a lovely event!
I just thought I’d mention, though, that the advertisment may make childless women feel like it isn’t for them. Your book (and your teaching in general) contains so much encouragement for those who are not Mums too, that it would be a shame if anyone felt like it was “not for them” because God hadn’t given them any children.
Hi Lisa, there are plenty of hotels in Peoria. You can call 309-389-3316 and leave a message for someone to call you back.
I’ve gotten a lot of emails regarding difficulty in finding the registration form – I’m going to enlarge the font so people are more likely to see the link, but here is another link to the reg. form just in case:

And Heather, we’ve been saying you should move here for a long time. We’ll just patiently wait. :-)
Sherrin, thank you for bringing that up. This isn’t a tea only for married women with children. I’m also hoping that mothers will bring their older daughters – it’s so important for them to embrace this message as well. Thank you for pointing out that single and childless women are welcome and encouraged to join us! My daughters will be there too (except for Christa, who is in Texas with my sweet grandbaby!)
Stacy,
I would like to attend, we are in NW MO and you are about 6 hours away. I would like to bring my 3 oldest girls — ages 13, 11 and 9. Is that an appropriate age? Please let me know.
Thanks so much & looking forward to meeting you!
Blessings,
gloria
How wonderful!! I will ask my husband if I can come. We are going to a home school conference earlier that week (our first one!), but Peoria is only a couple of hours away( we are in the Springfield area). It would be so nice to meet you, as I don’t know any like minded women. I might bring my oldest daughter (she is 7), it would be a great opportunity for her to be surrounded with other “passionate housewives”!
God Bless,
Amanda L.
