Our Visit with the Chanceys
We’ve been having a lovely time here in Alabama at the Chancey’s house. My husband, James, officiated a baptism at the Chancey’s church. Since Jennie and I live so far apart, Vision Forum thought it would be a good time to schedule some interviews.
Meet the film crew…
Our children had a lovely time together. The Chanceys are the most hospitable hosts and made us feel right at home – as usual. Even though I’m certain our presense raised the typical volume of their household; with 15 children between us, you can imagine the fun being had! And did I mention Jennie is in the midst of morning sickness?

Mrs. McDonald,
It looks like you all had a wonderful time. If God blesses me with marriage and children (please God!! :) I would love to have some Titus 2 women like you and Mrs. Chancey to live with for at least a week to see how you all do it :) I can’t wait to buy your and Mrs. Chancey’s book!!
Take care,
Leigh
I had a feeling she was expecting another one. Not too long ago, Doug Phillips said on his blog that Jennie was the mother of eight children. That sounded like a mistake to me, but I was pretty sure their two families are pretty close and that he wouldn’t make a mistake like that.
Congratulations Chancey family!
It looks like ya’ll had a great time.
Oh, Stacy! You’re so kind! We absolutely loved having y’all over. It was a big treat for our children to have yours here for days of wonderful play in this super fall weather! And, as always, it was such a delight to enjoy refreshing conversation and fellowship. Not to mention the incredibly toothsome concoctions you and your daughters created. WOW! We feel so richly blessed. Come back again soon! Love, Jennie
Oh how exciting for Jennie, Matt and her family!!! Please give her my warmest congratulations…the Lord timed your book just perfectly, didn’t He!?!!! I will be praying for Jennie and the baby.
Warmly,
Sarah Eppes
It looks like a LOVELY time! There is just nothing like sweet, Christian, likeminded fellowship. :-) Will Vision Forum be publishing the interview online?
God bless,
Jennifer

Dear Stacy,
I have been reading your blog for quite a while, but I have never commented. I so enjoy hearing about your family as well as the Chanceys. I have been reading about Jennie for quite some time, and how I wish, and pray quite often, for friends like both of you. I was wondering of your background. My desire is to follow God in all I do, to strive through my children for multi generational faithfullness, to be a woman with a meak and quiet spirit, to love my husband, keep a home, and to do it all with a smile. However, sometimes I feel so overwhelmed. I do not know anyone, other than many online, who shares my vision. I was raised by a single mother who tried hard, but didn’t have a vision of taking me to the right place. Sometimes I just wish God would speak audibly to me and tell me what to do. I suppose I just wish I was more prepared. Don’t get me wrong, God has taken such care to teach me through the different blogs and of course, through his word how to do things. Wouldn’t it be nice though, to have a mama that had lots of children, and shared your same vision, so she could help you?
It looks like you ladies had a lovely time together!
