Mother Daughter Social
Our Raising Maidens of Virtue group had their first Mother Daughter Social last night. It was great fun and a wonderful opportunity for all the young ladies to finally meet.
Normally, the class includes just the moms, so that moms can go back and teach their own daughters from the book, Raising Maidens of Virtue.
The topic of the evening presentation was Teaching Our Daughters the Importance of Biblical Beauty and Etiquette and focused on reminding us how imperative it is to present ourselves to God as a living sacrifice and to others in a way that glorifies Him.
We learned that “what’s on the outside” should be consistent with “what’s on the inside” and should speak honestly of the holiness of God and what He’s done in us.

Stacy,
What a wonderful idea!!
Love, Heather
Sure wish I lived near enough that I could be a part of such a group!! My daughter and I worked through the Maidens of Virtue book and really loved it. As you know, it isn’t very easy to connect with like-minded gals and daughters. I would have loved to have been with you all!
Thanks for being a blessing,
Patti
I wish you lived closer too! We would have loved to have had you join us! Perhaps you can start a group in your area!
